FAQ
Your Solar & Renewable EnergyQuestions Answered
Still have questions? We’re here to help! Whether you’re curious about solar installation, how renewable energy works, or any of the services we offer, our team is ready to guide you.
General Questions
Solar energy is power generated by converting sunlight into electricity. It’s captured using solar panels and can be used to power your home or business. The panels absorb sunlight and convert it into usable electricity, reducing energy costs and helping you achieve a cleaner, greener future.
Go New Planet specializes in installing solar energy systems for residential and commercial properties. We provide clean, renewable solar power solutions designed to save you money on electricity bills while also reducing your carbon footprint.
By switching to solar energy, you can reduce your monthly electricity bills, increase your energy independence, and lower your carbon footprint. Solar energy is a renewable, sustainable resource that helps protect the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Yes! Investing in solar energy is not only good for the environment, but it's also financially smart. With incentives, rebates, and the long-term savings from reduced electricity costs, solar power can offer a return on investment in just a few years, depending on your location and system size.
The Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program is an initiative by the state government that offers rebates for energy-efficient upgrades, including solar panel installations. Go New Planet helps you access these rebates and ensures you qualify for maximum savings while upgrading to solar energy.
The installation process typically takes 1 to 3 days, depending on the complexity of the system. After installation, the system will need to be inspected and connected to the grid, which can take a few more days.
Yes, solar panels can still generate electricity on cloudy or rainy days. While they produce more energy on sunny days, they are designed to capture indirect sunlight as well, ensuring your system provides power even during overcast conditions.
