How Does an Energy Monitor or In-Home Display Work?
The Emerald Planet Energy Monitor connects directly to your home’s smart electricity meter and sends real-time energy usage data to your phone or other connected devices.
A transmitter collects electricity consumption data from the meter and sends it to a receiver through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The receiver can be accessed via your smartphone, tablet, or computer, allowing you to easily track and understand your household energy usage.
